How to unlock the Mutare Magnus quest in Honkai Star Rail

To unlock the Mutare Magnus quest in Honkai Star Rail, you need the Omniscient research of Arcana scavenger hunt. Then look for Huixing who is on the Divination Committee.

Talking to her, she will ask for your help in performing fortune telling, which will unlock the Mutare Magnus puzzles and their associated rewards.

How to Complete Day 1 of Mutare Magnus in Honkai Star Rail

Puzzle 1

Look at the puzzle with the square opposite where you are standing, as in the image above. Then follow these steps:

1. Move the center node to the top left hole of the pattern (to the left of the square).
2. Move the bottom left node to the far left hole.

Puzzle 2

Following the same design, by standing with the square opposite where you are standing, follow these moves:

1. Move the bottom left node to the far right hole.

How to Complete Day 2 of Mutare Magnus in Honkai Star Rail

Puzzle 1

Face the square and use that as a marker, just follow these steps and you’ll solve the first puzzle of Day 2:

1. Move the top left node to the second right node (clockwise from the square).
2. Then move the node you got from there to the bottom right hole.
3. After that, move the top right node to the second node on the left counterclockwise from the square).
4. Finally, place the node you got there in the bottom left hole.

Puzzle 2

The second puzzle will follow the same marker, so follow these steps to solve it:

1. Move the far right node to the bottom left hole.
2. Then place the center node in the far left hole.
3. Place that node in the top left hole.
4. Then place that last node in the bottom right hole.

Puzzle 3

The last puzzle for Day 2 can be solved by following these steps and using the same marker as the previous puzzles:

1. Move the node from just above the center left to the bottom left.
2. Then move the node from just above center right to bottom right.
3. Swap the mid-left node for the mid-right jade.

Align the puzzle so that the square is facing you, then follow these steps:

1. Take the node just above center left and move it to the bottom left hole.
2. Then take the node just above center right and move it to the bottom right hole.
3. Swap the top left node with the leftmost node.
4. Then move the far left node to the top left.

Puzzle 2

Following the same positioning as the last puzzle, follow these steps:

1. Swap the top right node with the bottom left node.
2. Then move the jade you just picked up and move it to the center.
3. Then move the center-left node to the bottom right space.
4. Finally, move the node from right-center to left-center.

Puzzle 3

Using the previous positioning, use these steps to complete the final puzzle:

1. Move the node from the center to the top right.
2. Then swap the node in the middle right with the one in the middle left.
3. Take that node at the bottom left.
4. Then move the last node you have to the top left space.
